A returned resident to Colorado, I love being in a land that has felt like home from the first time I arrived. I am wife to Colin, who is a crafter of metal, and loves to create pleasing and durable items that bring joy to the consumer. We have the most delightful and kind-spirited little boy toddling around our home and he makes life a beautiful adventure. Our Spanish Water Dog, Lucie, completes our little tribe.

Life’s journeys have brought me to Washington, Oklahoma, England, Illinois, Alabama, South Carolina, Nashville, and Colorado. These western mountains have a special call on my soul and I savor any time I may venture into the wild territory and run through its land with arms wide open. Travel is in my bones and yet, there is nothing like returning to the refuge of home.

When left to myself, you may find me delighting in the experience of good food, sipping on a cup of bold coffee, getting my hands in the dirt and tending to plants, or wandering in the outdoors.

As a Spiritual Director

I first discovered the practice of spiritual direction in 2014, during a season of life that ached with deep questions of faith. I could no longer survive the echoes of my own head and heart and a friend suggested this avenue to pursue. What I found was a place of safety and refuge that allowed space for my soul to not only be known, but to be journeyed alongside. I rediscovered God in ways that were like water to very parched land.

After 12 years working in nonprofit ministry, I shifted my focus to be primarily about the care of the individual soul. During a 2-year program called the Soul Care Institute, I decided to pursue the vocation of becoming a spiritual director. It felt like a coming home. Upon completing my journey with SCI, earning a certificate of Soul Care through Fuller Theological Seminary, I became an apprentice in spiritual direction with Anam Cara, learning and developing under the direction of Tara Owens.

My heart is to invite people into a place where they are free to engage the tension of the daily of the broken realities we know and encounter, alongside the hope of the promised and complete restoration to come. I believe it is here we can encounter the most beautiful echoes of the Divine dwelling among humanity. As a spiritual director, I can listen with sacred curiosity to people, creating space that is willing to hold questions without the demand of answers and welcomes the process of the journey. I am rooted in and practice from the Christian tradition.

As a Life Plan Guide

In 2011, I had the opportunity to go through the Paterson LifePlan process. After having engaged several similar tools, I was astounded at the way this process created freedom and traction within my own story, while also extending the gift to dream with greater clarity. The following year I was trained as a facilitator.

As one who isn't usually process driven, I'm continually amazed at how a well-crafted Spirit-dependent process continues to produce results that invite people deeper into their own story and purpose. It is a privilege to intentionally engage people in the work of discovering how it is they might know and employ their specific and unique space within the world.

Over the past 9 years, one of the highlights of my work experience has been, and continues to be, guiding individuals, as well as groups, through the transformative process of a Life Plan. Each journey is different and each person walks away with take aways and revelations unique to them.
